Description: Introduces the interdisciplinary approach to the study of human movement. An overview of the importance of the sub-disciplines in kinesiology are discussed along with career opportunities in teaching, coaching, allied health, and fitness professions. Course Student Learning Outcomes:
Compare and contrast the psychological benefits of physical activity.
Analyze contemporary Physical Education, Exercise Science and Sport Programs.
Examine Physical Education safety procedures.
Investigate cardiorespiratory endurance programs.
